Easy walk along creek. Got to where payload was and it was on wrong side of water. Navigated creek, using all the storm damaged trees that were in the creek. Luckily I used a 15ft stick to steady myself during crossing. Stick came in handy, was able to pull payload down out of tree and then had to shake tree to get down parachute.

Found the farmer that was leasing the fields. Decided to try a drone lift in the high winds. Position down wind, used up 40% of battery just trying to hook it in high winds. Was able to pull it out of field and immediately flew down wind. As drone got closer home point, didn’t realize that RS41 spent most of the time being dragged through wheat field. Able to land on road and found payload in very good condition.
