Radiosonde X0852978 recovered by Ruff Dey

320 miles today with a few of those on a narrow mountain trail riding an ATV. Sonde and about 12 ft of string were in a dead juniper tree. Package had been descending fast so likely lots of latex left over. No sign of parachute, leftover latex or the rest of the string. Only a small latex scrap on the ground. Strongly suspect elk or deer ate the rest of it.
