Met nice lady who was taking care of her yard. She said we’re welcome to check the trees in her backyard. We told her no, it would’ve landed in the front of her house and it has an orange so it would have stuck out. She then points to a tree that was in the front of her house and said something like over there. We turn and there was the chute in the tree with the string go down and on to a stone wall. Easy recovery, chute still in tree.

Permission from land owner given! Just look for the orange parachute they say......sure no problem! ITS A HARVESTED PUMPKIN PATCH! Orange everywhere!! With the remote help of Windturbine73, parachute was located approx 80 m east of 43.21611 -80.61555 in the corn stubble 1 field over. My first Graw DFM-17 recovery and it traveled over 700km from Gaylord MI. Thank you US NWS!
